Ozone therapy

Ozone therapy is commonly used and studied in Cuba, Europe and Russia to treat various medical conditions such as AIDS, asthma, cancer, chronic fatigue, ear infections, hepatitis, inflammation, as well as various circulatory, digestive, and eye diseases.  This treatment is less commonly used in the United States, where the practice has been confined to the realm of complementary and alternative medicine (CAM). Although the numerous anecdotal success stories found in popular media (websites, books, etc.) are encouraging, there is a need for more formal research to be conducted on the therapeutic uses of ozone. Our goal at CAM Research Institute is to perform a systematic review of the literature regarding ozone therapy to summarize the current state of the research on this topic. Once completed, this review will help us determine whether and how to proceed with further research.
